Deep Fat Fry Cleaner


Removes Carbonized Soils

Powerful low foam cleaner that loosens baked-on carbon, grease, and burnt oil from deep fat fryers and other food service equipment. Highly concentrated formulation mixes and disperses evenly in all water conditions. Loosened soils are emulsified and kept in suspension for easy removal and rinsing from inside surfaces, baskets, grates, valves, and other surfaces. Use for cleaning other food service equipment and in institutional applications where heavy encrusted grease, oil, or baked-on soils are present and low foam is required. Ideal for Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) food service/food processing applications.

Directions

Read the entire label and MSDS for proper use, handling and storage before using this product.

Fryer cleaning:

  1. Drain the fat from the unit.
  2. Add water until the heating element is covered.
  3. Add 4 oz. of Deep Fat Fryer Cleaner to each gallon of water.
  4. Turn on the heat and boil for 20 to 30 minutes. Very heavy carbon deposits may take longer.
  5. Drain the unit, brushing sides with a stiff brush.
  6. Flush the unit thoroughly with water.

Drain and grease trap cleaning: Periodic use of Deep Fat Fryer Cleaner in kitchen drains and grease traps will help keep these clean and odor free.

  1. Pour 4 oz. in each drain and follow with hot water.
  2. Allow to work for at least half an hour.

Grill and griddle cleaning:

  1. Dilute product with 6 to 8 parts water and liberally apply to warm (not hot) grill/griddle surface.
  2. Allow to remain on surface for 5 minutes.
  3. Scrub grill/griddle with brush or griddle stone.
  4. Rinse surface clean with fresh water and dry.
